The new Washington and Sunderland West CLP has been formed and covers Castle, Redhill and St Anne's wards in addition to all of the Washington wards. The three Sunderland CLPs will be working together on campaigning and joint events.

Meetings!
The inaugural meeting of Washington and Sunderland West Young Labour is taking place on Tuesday 14th November at 7pm at the Millennium Centre, Concord, Washington.
It's clear when you look around Labour Party meetings that not enough young people are involved and we need to change that. The first meeting will be a great opportunity to meet like-minded young people, discuss politics and decide on future campaigns.
Should the voting age be reduced to 16?
Why do we have Age Discrimination legislation but young workers can still be paid a lower minimum wage?
How can we support human rights worldwide?
We can continue on for a drink after the meeting.
